6th International RAVE Workshop April 2nd, 2025

You are cordially invited to participate in this year's RAVE workshop on April 2 in Berlin or online. The workshop is free of charge, please register here until March 23.

We also encourage you to contribute to the workshop by presenting your work related to RAVE in an oral presentation. If you are interested in presenting your work or have any questions, please simply write us an email to raveworkshop@iwes.fraunhofer.de.

The RAVE Workshops

The aim of RAVE is to promote offshore wind energy research by sharing this globally unique dataset and to support its use in research. We organize the RAVE workshop to facilitate the exchange between scientists interested in RAVE or working with RAVE data. Learn about the research results obtained with the RAVE dataset and discuss how it can be used for future research questions on offshore wind energy.

Participation

The workshop will take place on April 2, 2025 at the Fraunhofer site “ENIQ” in Berlin-Mitte and virtually as a hybrid event. Participation is free of charge, but due to limited places on site, registration for in-person participation is required here. The deadline for registration is March 23, 2024.

Virtual participation is possible via a link for MS teams, which will be published shortly on this website together with the agenda.

Call for contributions

With this workshop we offer all researchers from industry, research institutions and universities a platform to exchange results and discuss issues related to RAVE. If you would like to share your expertise with us by presenting your topic at the workshop, we would be delighted to have you contribute to an interesting program. Please just send us an e-mail to raveworkshop@iwes.fraunhofer.de. There is also the possibility to present virtually if traveling is not possible.
