With our newsletters we would like to inform you regularly about news in alpha ventus, current RAVE projects and related offshore topics a. We also publish information about publications and events such as our public RAVE FORA and the annual International RAVE Workshops.

The upcoming RAVE FORUM#4 is scheduled online for August 24, 2026 starting 12:00 until 13:00 CEST.
Eloy Insunza, a RAVE data user from the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid will give an impulse talk on the impact of numerical weather forecasting on wind power forecasting.
We are looking forward and invite to an interesting discussion with all participants afterwards.

Should you have another topic which you would like to contribute as an impulse, there certainly would be time for a second presentation as well.

For this year´s last RAVE FORUM#5 on November 25, 2026 we are still open for an initial topic from which discussions can start.

Our last RAVE FORUM#3 took place February 23, 2026 .We hosted the BSH with an impulse talk on FINO measurement platforms 1, 2 and 3 in the German bight and in the Baltic Sea. This was followed by a vivid discussion on the use of long term meteorological measurements and the future of the FINO platforms between the participants from industry, research & academia and the public authorities. The topic of our more recent RAVE FORUM #2 was "Sea State Measurements and Simulations".
